Editorial desk review updated 28 October 2026. This profile describes the currently published Headway global accounts and the website operator’s disclosures, not results of a funded-account test. Account features, leverage and available products depend on residency and the legal entity named in the contract.
Overview
Headway provides forex and CFD trading on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, with a published three-account lineup: Cent, Standard and Pro. Although all advertise high leverage and relatively low starting deposits, contract exposure and commissions differ. Evaluate the actual instrument and account terms rather than comparing minimum deposit numbers alone.
Cent, Standard and Pro account comparison
Cent: minimum opening deposit US$1, advertised floating spreads from 0.3 pip, no standard trading commission, cent-based trading exposure and MT4/MT5 support. Standard: minimum deposit US$10, spreads from 0.3 pip and no standard trading commission, with MT4/MT5 support. Pro: minimum deposit US$100, spreads from 0.0 pip with commission up to US$1.50 per lot per side according to the account page (potentially up to US$3 per lot round turn on qualifying symbols). Unlike Standard and Cent, the Pro page lists a 0.1-lot minimum trade size; this matters for position-sizing comparisons and smaller accounts.
These are published starting spreads, not continuously verified EUR/USD or XAU/USD averages. Swap-free eligibility and other financing conditions are account- and instrument-specific. Symbols, stop levels and account-currency options can vary.
Leverage, margin and trading conditions
Headway advertises leverage up to unlimited across its accounts, subject to requirements and instrument-specific conditions. Its current account sheets list 30% margin call, stop-out from 0%, hedging, scalping and Expert Advisor compatibility on MT4/MT5. Those are marketing/published limits, not a guarantee that unlimited leverage is suitable or available to every trader. High leverage greatly increases the probability of a rapid margin loss, even on modest price movements.
Regulation and legal entity
The current hw.online site says it is operated by JAROCEL PTY LTD, a South African company with registration 2021/883863/07, authorised and regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), FSP licence 52108. Customer protections and eligible services should be determined from the signed client agreement, not assumed from the brand name. Headway’s notices restrict services where local law or applicable international watchlists prohibit them; confirm residency eligibility during onboarding.
Deposits, withdrawals and transfer times
Actual deposit methods, minimums and conversions depend on the country and selected payment system. The Headway Client Agreement states that withdrawal requests are carried out by the financial department in order, within a maximum of two business days after request creation under normal terms, with exceptional circumstances addressed separately. This describes the broker’s internal handling, not guaranteed arrival at a bank or wallet. The receiving provider can require additional time for settlement and currency conversion.
Withdrawals of profits and partner commissions must use a personal account or e-wallet. The agreement includes return-to-card provisions when a card was used for deposits, and the broker may require proof of payment-method ownership or additional compliance documents. Broker promotional credits can carry separate withdrawal conditions. Always consult the current signed agreement and payment dashboard before transferring funds.
What to compare
Use the actual lot contract value when comparing Cent with Standard or Pro, account for the Pro’s 0.1-lot minimum, add commission to Raw-style minimum spreads and check available leverage on your specific instrument. The withdrawal handling timeframe and provider settlement must be separated in any comparison.
How we score
The editorial score of 4.1/5 is the one-decimal rounded average of four existing desk-research categories: support 4.2, platform/features 4.7, withdrawal disclosures 4.1 and cost disclosures 3.5. The unrounded mean is 4.125. These reflect editorial assessments of published information, not an independently verified safety rating, trade-execution performance or forecast of profit.
